Can I bring my children?

Unfortunately, no. In an effort to preserve the experience for the bride, groom, and everyone in attendance, we are only inviting family and friends who are 18 years of age and older (or will be at the time of the wedding).

I have a question about the wedding that is not answered here, who do I contact?

If you have a question that isn't answered here on the website, then please reach out to us at Hallowedding26@gmail.com.

What time does the ceremony begin?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Therefore, we recommend you plan to arrive by 4:00 so you have time to take in the castle before finding your seat and settling in. If you are staying at one of the hotels where we have rooms blocked off, we will have a shuttle that departs at 3:30 pm, ensuring you arrive by 4:00 pm. More details on this can be found on the "Travel" page.

Should I dress in a Halloween costume?

No. As much as we normally love to see everyone's creativity come to life, we are wanting to keep this classy and elegant.

Ok, no costume. Is there a dress code?

Yes! We are asking everyone to dress to impress in black for this Hallowedding. Think black cocktail dresses, dressy black jumpsuits, black suit and tie, black dress pants and a nice black shirt, etc. Please feel free to reach out to anyone in the wedding party with any questions. (Side note: if you have that one tux or one formal gown that you've just been dying for an excuse to wear—so long as it's black—then absolutely! Let this be your time to rock it!) Whatever your choice, we just respectfully ask that you help us keep the spooky-chic magic alive by wearing black.

Am I allowed to bring a +1?

Absolutely! We cannot wait to celebrate with you both soon! Please just be sure to mark them as attending when you complete your RSVP.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Weather permitting, we'll be saying "I do" in the castle's stunning Open Air Chapel while our cocktail hour and reception will take place in the castle's fully heated & cooled indoor reception hall.

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely! We'll have a full open bar (complete with mocktails as well) to keep the drinks flowing. Come thirsty and ready to toast with us!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

During the ceremony itself? No. Any other time? Absolutely! In fact, we will have a QR code for everyone to scan that will allow all the photos you take to be automatically uploaded to a shared album — no need to do anything besides point, shoot, and enjoy!

Can I post wedding photos to social media?

Sure! Please feel free to share as many or as few photos as you would like on your preferred platform. All we ask is that you use our hashtag and tag our incredible venue, The Sterling Castle, in any photos.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

We do! #Hallowedding2026

Who can I contact if I have questions the day-of?

Have a question or need help the day of the wedding? Rather than reaching out to the bride or groom, please contact one of our wedding party members — they’ll have all the info you need! Their phone numbers will be listed on the Wedding Party page two weeks prior to the wedding.
